Nice platform

Terrible, buy great app Attenddify and shelf it! Then try to hard sell you something with fewer features! I hope they go bust.

This is a huge scam. I have received over 20 emails from them even though I've unsubsidized twice. I have never even heard of this place until i started getting these emails. I'm real tempted to dig even deeper and get a lawyer involved and sue for harassment

this company has a new scam. they send the email to some scam address and CC you. There is no way to unsubscribe as a cc I tried blocking, but the Hopin name is outside the email sending address and there are probably hundreds of spoof email addresses. I would never do business with a company with such shady practices, If they need these tactics, they are undoubtedly crooked. I wish there was a way to make these practices punishable by castration with a rusty knife.

I do not know this HOPIN company, there is no telephone number or address, no registration number nothing on their website.

In the last two days I have received over 30 SPAMs, their unsubscribe buttons do not work. Quite a mystery.

I love all the solutions we currently use except Hopin;
- need to register to events in advance and can't jump on calls last minute
- you can't listen to events on your phone if you screen is locked - and many more issues on phone
- sometimes I register and I still have to reregister due to some issues
+ some other glitches
I would just stay with googlemeet/zoom/teams

Useless, was excited about the platform... But it's nearly unusable... Not easy to understand, and couldn't message who I wanted. It simply didn't work well... Needlessly... Its a simple messaging software essentially... Its been done before... Just copy the interfaces that actually work. Terrible waste of time.

We were not given all of the information around the limitations of the Hopin platform. Here are some:
1.) limited guests can be on screen at one time
2.) the main stage is awkward for speaker and admin
3.) there are no breakout rooms available
4.) Screen share is clunky and unintuitive

While we had high hopes for Hopin, we decided after a couple of events that it did not meet our needs. We received great tech and event support from our Hopin rep, but the sales team is awful. Hopin used pushy and deceptive sales practices to lock us into an expensive contract while providing us with a dishonest timeline about when new features would be rolled out. The platform does include many behind the scenes customization options, and could be well-suited to certain large events, but also lacks basic functionality (breakout rooms, >20 people on camera) that can be found even in the free version of Zoom.

Terrible experience, entire event collapsed within first hour. No acceptance of responsibility from Hopin and refusal to refund even their own subscription cost for hosting an event that wouldn't work. Forced to fall back on an alternative platform (MSTeams Live) - certainly won't use hopin ever again and recommend no-one else does!

I've just participated in presenting at a conference on Hopin and I found it frustrating as did several other speakers I talked to. Issues:
1) Sharing a YouTube video in the practice demo sessions worked, but it didn't work live so I had to scramble to share the video via Chrome browser, which showed up choppy to the audience.
2) I've successfully chatted with a few participants one-on-one, but when chatting with one participant, the message sent, but never displayed after 2 attempts.
3) The platform is not intuitive and I (as a speaker) have had to coach a few other speakers through sharing their content
4) Several presenters at the conference today had issues where their audio would not work properly.

This is not a platform I want to use again as a presenter.

It's amazing how Hopin really gave me a close experience of being in an actual conference. Meeting people there was nice!

I wonder though if there was a way to lengthen the talk, even for just maybe 15-30secs. Many times got cut out at the last few seconds. Haha

My review is the same as the one below. Never again. Wasted loads of my time. caused me stress and frustration and now I need to do a video interview for an event which I could not access as a speaker. I tried three diffferent devices whilst the event was live! (I have no connection with any competitor).

Hands down the best virtual conference platform I've seen!

The chat, the ability to go to the stage and to do speed networking is amazing! I've used this platform a few times and have had good experiences every time. The only difficulty I've seen is the human element - people's knowledge base and willingness to explore the features provided.

After trialing many different online platforms, Hopin has felt fully the most like a full conference experience, not just watching talks online. The continual updates to the platform, as well as the constant addition of new features, keeps it ahead of the rest.

We began using this platform at the beginning of the pandemic, and have been impressed by how it continues to grow and develop into a platform that's easy to use, and yet dynamic in its offerings. With pricing plans for all budgets, I would highly recommend.
